Mixfader dj and Mixfader offer a comprehensive solution for DJs who want to produce high-quality scratching on the go. With the ability to connect to physical turntables such as the PT01 Scratch, Mixfader and Mixfader dj allow you to experience the unique sensation of vinyl in your hands and unleash your skills without limitations.
It's worth mentioning that the Mixfader Companion app has been removed from the store, making Mixfader dj the sole dedicated app for Mixfader. All the features from the Companion app have been integrated into Mixfader dj.
With Mixfader dj, you can expect a truly authentic vinyl experience and exceptional sound quality that faithfully emulates real vinyl behavior. Thanks to revolutionary ultra-low latency Bluetooth technology, Mixfader dj delivers instant responses to your Mixfader movements, ensuring a seamless and responsive scratching experience.
When it comes to setup options, Mixfader dj gives you flexibility. Whether you prefer to use a smartphone, tablet or both, and whether you choose timecode or standard audio vinyls, or even MIDI software, there are no limits to what you can achieve with this innovative tool.
The app provides convenient access to the music you need. You can explore a store of special scratch loops created by professional scratchers such as LostTonePros, Ugly Mac Beer, Fong Fong or Weezmatic (in-app purchases). Additionally, there are free loops and samples available directly within the app. You can also access your iTunes local tracks and folders, integrate with Soundcloud and Deezer, create playlists, sort tracks by BPM, and convert recorded routines to MP3 for easy sharing with your community.
Some notable features of Mixfader dj include 8 cue points per deck, 5 audio effects (Phaser, Flanger, Echo, Reverb, and Filter) with automated sync on the BPM, real-time audio analysis, customizable crossfader curves, an instant doubles feature, Mixfader's cut-in point adjustment, and vinyl's inertia adjustment. Other notable functions include the Hamster switch, automatic BPM detection, the ability to assign your Mixfader to any role (Crossfader, Volume or Pitch fader, audio effect), and an HD recording feature.
Mixfader dj boasts a specially designed single vinyl interface that provides a large control surface with a marker displayed for precise control. You can easily switch between deck A and deck B and the central spectrum visually represents the vinyl's movements with a real-time graphic representation of the sound. All essential tools are just a click away, including pitch control, volume fader, hot cues, and audio FX. The physical turntables dedicated interface offers direct access to colored cue point pads on each deck.
When it comes to compatibility, Mixfader and Mixfader dj can be connected to portable scratching turntables like the Vestax Handy Trax and Numark PT01 Scratch. You can use timecode or standard audio vinyls for scratching. Supported timecode vinyls so far include Serato CV02 A-side and B-side, Serato Control CD, Traktor MK1 A-side and B-side, MixVibes 7", and MixVibes V2. Furthermore, Mixfader dj supports audio devices with multiple inputs, allowing you to connect two physical turntables to your device.
For those who prefer MIDI software, Mixfader dj offers MIDI mode selection and allows you to assign control change numbers of your choice. Supported software includes GarageBand, Serato, Virtual DJ, Ableton Live 9, and Traktor.
The app also includes various Mixfader settings, giving you the ability to update your Mixfader directly from the app, assign a color to your Mixfader, and calibrate or re-calibrate it as needed.
